This is the weirdest design I have seen in a HDTV. Check out Sony, Philips anything and look at this tv. It has the red color, a super thick silly frame and worst of all the shiny glass going all over the edge of the tv. What the hell Samsung. I like the picture but I realy dont want to buy it because of its bad design.

The 1 star is for the CEVA shipping company all the way. I live in Northern Virginia and my TV was coming form Ohio. All seemed fine as I ordered Sunday and by Wensday I was being contacted for a delivery time the following day (today). Well I selected between 12-4 right now it is 5:30 and still no TV. I have definantly missed a day of work for these slackers. The driver was supposed to call 30min before arrival, well that did not happen I had to call him. Then he told me he would be here in an hour…. it’s been 2.
A huge thumbs down to CEVA, I hope my tv get’s here today as i’m not trying to skip another days work.
Good thing it was free shipping b/c I would be looking for a refund otherwise.

CEVA is the Logistics company doing tracking and delivery of the TV. They are pathetic. No coordination. They said TV will be delivered ONLY between 2pm -6pm any weekday and had limited availability . SO I confirm 20th Jan and they call me at 2pm saying it is a mistake and my TV went to some other location of CEVA Logistics. So far havent heard back and no Sorry or apologies.
Called their main number in Dallas. Gets to VM, but unable to leave a message!!!
STAY AWAY FROM AMAZON because of people like CEVA ….

So,
After selecting Amazon as the retailer of choice for my Samsung LCD TV, I opted for the “white Glove” delivery service option. This has been nothing but a nightmare. Product was due to arrive on August 6th. No calls, e-mail alerts etc… I finally contacted them today and was cordially bounced around from CSR to CSR. Now they have promised to deliver by tommorow I will have to wait and see. I have seen the TV at local retailers and it is phenomenal. I am looking forward to seeing it at my home. I cannot however recommend Amazon as a reliable retailer for shipping, so far it has been a truly miserable experience.

I purchased my TV on Amazon.com even after getting one of the biggest run arounds of my life. First for some unknown reason I was denied credit on their no interest credit card, after I got that squared away I ordered the TV and thought it was on it’s way when I got an email advising me that while they gave me credit they did not give enough to purchase the TV that I wanted. I have an excellent credit rating and there was no reason to give me three hundred less dollars in credit than I needed in order to purchase this TV. Just a big run around and no one seemed interested in my plight. Don’t ask me why, but I ordered the TV from Amazon.com anyway. I figured the price was good and they have that White Glove delivery so I went for it.
After waiting for the tv for more than a week and not hearing anything about delivry I decided to go away for a long weekend. One day my friend who was checking on my house for me called and said that my TV was on my front porch. Some white glove delivery. THEY LEFT MY TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR TV ON MY FREAKIN’ PORCH WHILE I WAS AWAY! I wound up setting it up myself, so much for WHITE GLOVE.
As for the TV itself, it’s really incredible. The picure is absolutely perfect. It was really a breeze to set up. Even though I haven’t receieved my digital DVR yet the picture is clear. I’m glad I got it, I just wouldn’t buy it or anything else for that matter from Amazon.com.
