ok cheers man
I got a Panasonic 240hz plasma and a Samsung LCD 650 series tv. I play games on both of them, But however, I think the Plasma give gaming better color and better viewing angle.
And also, I think LED will own both plasma and LCD in every specs.
Should i get this TV or the LS50B551 (LN50B551) 50 inch samsung plasma if im gonna use it for like at least 50% games? Hard to tell when looking in the shop cos the LCDs all look better because of the bright lighting.
why would i care for music on a tv
samsung ln46b650 FTW
even though lcd improved a lot in the past 2 years. the samsung b650 lcd gets a 0.04 cd/m2 while mine is 0.05. which is astounding. i fear for plasmas in the next 10 years
true =]
i have a panasonic plasma 46pz80 fullhd
it’s fantastic watching movies and videos from ps3 with bluray and dvd
you can play with a pc too with hdmi port. i used a dvi-hdmi converter for my ati 1950pro. if you play a lot of pc games buy a lcd but if you care about black level colors and a pleasant image go with plasma. screen burn and gg are not an issue anymore
I mean comparing to plasma tv, the colors are like lighter.
Whats wrong with the colours?
can’t you change the colours, contrasts and the brighness?
I seriously need to ask, because i’m in the middle of buying it or not
Yea, it’s a good TV. I been using this TV to play mirror’s edge, Crysis, CSS, and Etc…
It looks good in all games ( since it has 50,000:1 , 120hz motion flow , and 4ms response time ) there is no ghosting at all. However, the only bad thing are the colors.
Ck
I like black tv’s
But you didn’t answear my question
This tv is good in white but poor in black
if u want good colors, u should go with panasonic plasma TV ( 600Hz )
Is this tv good for gaming?
iI have a ps3, and i want a new tv. And would this tv be good?
nice TV, just bought one and cant wait to hook up my PS3 to it. However, the back of yours looks like a birds nest. Loose the wires bro-might cause a fire.
ms = millisecond, in case you didn’t know. yes, the lower, the better. closest to 0 means almost instant sync/response with audio and video. so 4ms is just saying 0.04 of 1 second response. Pretty damn quick for liquid.
the lower the ms the better?????
I agree with you. I am buying a Samsung soon but I am not sure which one yet. Anyways about Samsung being as good as Sony: Samsung actually provides Sony with a lot of their technology including the screens thats why they are so similar as far as quality. I am not sure about the other parts of sony TVs. I think I’m going with this 46A650!!
It actually has a 4ms input lag for those uninformed. Which is pretty good for gaming as compared to most other LCD TV’s. I would highly recommend any of the samsung series 600 or higher.
it comes with 2 speakers
( at the bottom of the screen )
Is this tv’s built in speakers or do you have something better on it?
theres no lag for the input
this TV look mad good with HD game
i try with far cry 2 and it looks crazy ( u can see all the detail )
Do you notice any input lagwith this set? I am looking into getting this exact tv for playing Halo 3, but have been reading reviews of terrible input lag and that it makes playing difficult and sniping impossible. Not trying to brag at all here, since there are thousands of gamers out there like me, but for a 3 star general who plays on level 10 sensitivity, this could be a big issue. Any comments from anyone? Thanks in advance!

i bought a vizio 47 inch hdtv, i returned it a month later bc i wasnt happy with it. i tought i could save some money buying a cheaper hdtv, bad decission!! i decided to buy this samsung hdtv, the moral of the story is “you get what you paid for” if you have extra cash buy a samsung, they are as good as sonys but cheaper in price. cheers!
