i have a lcd 46 inch tv and the xbox 360 i was thinking of buying a hdmi wire?

i heard it makes the graphics look better but i already got the adapter and the 3 color wires and the graphics look great should i grab the hdmi wire or is it just the same thng

Not much difference, I use the composite cables too. But the HDMI not only does video, but also does audio. Its suppose turn your audio into digital as well. How much better, if any, audio will sound, I’m not sure. But it is a step above the composites and they made it for a reason, so if you got some cash to spend, why not.
I have a $40 sony HDMI wire. I can put it on ebay if you wanna buy it. $15 free ship.
HDMI is better quality than the red/blue/green wires so i definitely advise to get the hdmi. Its not even expensive, you can get an hdmi cable for like $15-$20. HDMI is actually the best visual quality you can get, literally. Thats not an opinion, that is actually the truth. There is nothing better and no other better kind of setup to make visual quality better. HDMI is the best out there right now.
only thing is, make sure your 360 has an HDMI port in the back by the av cable plug in because all of the earlier models dont have hdmi ports, only newer ones so make sure you can hook up hdmi before getting the cable

There is not much of a difference in video quality but the audio would be cleaner through the HDMI cable; unless you’re bypassing the RED / WHITE by using an optical cable?
Save your money, use it for a new title. Game on.
