If you&#039;re connecting a DVD, you&#039;ll need component cables unless the DVD player is an HD DVD at which point you&#039;ll need an HDMI cable.  The Xbox connects via component.</description>

		<description>you&#039;ll probably want HDMI cables for your sound and video.  i dunno if upconverting dvd player, bluray or hd dvd players fall under bells and whistles though.  dont buy the expensive HDMI cables, there are no real differences.  dont trust the guys at the store.  20 dolarl ones will work as well as the 90 dollar ones.  i dont know anything about xbox  sorry.</description>
