What is the weight difference 42″ plasma vs 42″ lcd also vs 46″?

one of the considerations is weight I know Plasma is heavier but by how much, a couple of kilos? 10? 20? any help anyone. thanks I guess the brand wont matter just average weight dfference please

That’s hard to say because even different models of LCD/Plasma TVs can have an appreciable difference in weight, not to mention that the difference in weight between the two types increases exponentially as you go up in screen size.
Your best bet is to visit bestbuy.com or some other web site and lookup specs for various TVs and come to your own conclusion about average difference in each “weight class”. Always the best way in fact.
As an example, the Sony KDL-42V4100 with stand has a weight of 63 lbs. The Panasonic TH-42RX80U, with stand, is 61.7 lbs. The model TH-42PZ85U, with stand, is 70.5 lbs. Different models and makes may vary, but they are close in weight when comparing the newer 2008 models.
