i am moving in a year and my paretns are selling this house. for christmas im getting a 80gb ps3. and they are going to buy an HDTV for a good price (please none over two grand) wanting me to look for good HD tvs for the new house is the Sharp 46″ LCD HDTV a good blu-ray/HI-DEF gaming television?? and it would be nice if anybody could tell me some good games for the ps3 to take full advantage of it’s HDMI capabilities.

I need a stand that can support a 46″ LCD HDTV.

I am looking to buy a surround system. First of all I have a 46″ samsung 1080P LCD and a ps3 and I like to watch Movies and Sports, with this information I want to know if HT-X50 would be the best choice for my needs if not please can you send me some suggestions. I want to buy it ASAP.

Looking for a 46 inch LCD TV. Any suggestions on what to get? Money isn’t too big of a deal. Pretty much just used to watch TV and DVDs every now and then.

I was looking for some suggestions on HDTV’s that are good for gaming. I currently have a Wii but more importantly, I plan to have this new TV be the main computer monitor for a new computer I plan to build as well. I’ll also have blue ray and HD cable too of course.

My concerns/criteria are as follows:

1. Not spending over $1500 and I want a 46 inch.

2. I don’t know if plasma or LCD is better for gaming when it comes to TV longevity, refresh rate, etc. I’ve heard mixed thoughts on this. My initial decision was to go with LCD since that’s what my current computer monitors are, but lately some have been saying that plasma has gotten way better for this type of stuff. No LED for me, just to expensive right now.

3. I know I need 1080p for good enough resolution and that’s what I wanted anyway.

4. Are there any other issues or concerns I should have with PC gaming and PC use on an HDTV? Image burning, refresh rate, etc?

My initial decision was to go for the Toshiba REGZA 46XV545U with SRT technology and a 120hz refresh rate, but just before pulling the purchase trigger I started to question myself. Any insight on this model for gaming with consoles and PCs?

16:9 Hi-Scan 1080i Display
I assume it is less than a few years old due to the 1080i. It also comes with the TV stand. Is 650 a fair/good deal?
Plus they will deliver.
