Hi. Can I do the following? I want to sit in my recliner with a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard and use my new 46-inch Sony Bravia LCD big screen TV as my computer monitor while doing things like word processing and answering email. I am currently looking to buy a computer with an HDMI output for this purpose. My question regards picture quality. Will the image be suitable for text-based purposes, even for small fonts? Hopefully someone who has already tried this will answer this question. (Please don’t just guess.) Thanks.

Sometimes when I am watching DVDs on the following television, Sony Bravia 46″ 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV, the screen (movie) gets darker for a few seconds at a time? Someone suggested that it could be the auto contrast enhancement feature. So, we turned it off and it still does it. Here is the link to the tv

I have a 46 in sony bravia lcd tv, when i watch hd theater some little white dots come out, i want to know if this is from my tv or the channel?

my son threw a toy at my 46′ rca lcd flat screen tv. it started out as a little dot and its now a line that is spreading across the middle of the screen. do you think it would be the same to buy a whole new tv and pray it doesnt happen again or would it be cheaper to fix the screen.

I was over my friends house and i accidently shot a loaded Airsoft gun at his 46″ LCD HDTV. The TV is worth like $1500 and i dont have that money. Is there anyway to repair LCD tv screens? if so, hoe much would it cost roughly?
