Any idea on when the KDL-46V3000 will be available… and at what price? Thanks.
In response to Tach3232… I thought the 46V3000 was newer (and therefore better). You are saying that Sony’s new 46V3000 is not as good as its older 46XBR3?

is it a smart choice?? The seller is in europe, and he is offering the price of $700 include shipping. The whole transaction is protected by Ebay. So is it a smart choice??

Sometimes when I am watching DVDs on the following television, Sony Bravia 46″ 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV, the screen (movie) gets darker for a few seconds at a time? Someone suggested that it could be the auto contrast enhancement feature. So, we turned it off and it still does it. Here is the link to the tv

Cannot get cable box from the provider. The cable is from Armed Forces Network, over a coax, and of poor quality. I want to buy an AV receiver that will upconvert both the PS3 and Cable input. i want surround sound from the PS3 and a better picture through the cable input to the receiver using HDMI out.

i dont the mind price of them, all i want is your experience about both of them if you have, please give some advise based on your experience.
thanks

There on sale for black friday at walmart

I have an RCA antenna with a coaxial cable and I keep getting the local channels with a very bad picture. The set is 1080p so do I have to change the resolution or something or is this it? Is this all I can do? The people who live next door have a good crystal clear local channel and they don’t have DirecTV or any cable for that matter but they still get the local channel with amazing quality. So, I need help setting this HDTV up. Thank You!!!!!!!!
It does have an ATSC tuner and it’s not HD-Ready. It’s an HDTV. Here is a link for the TV I’m talking about:-

Based on my budget, I found these two options to be affordable and very similar in specs. I know they are both good brands, but I was hoping someone with a little more knowledge about these LCD TVs can steer me in the right direction on which to buy. They are very similar in price:

Sharp AQUOS 46″ LC46D65U LCD HDTV
Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-46S4100 46-Inch

Thanks a lot.
